Samuel Moss's impressive 21-point performance and the Panthers hard fought second half, LC dropped the game to Rhodes 75-69 (Dec. 16).
Game details
The game today was close throughout. Despite Rhodes gaining a small lead in the first half, the Panthers never let the Lynx get comfortable. At halftime, Rhodes led 36-27. LC continued to battle in the second half. The best play of the game came from Jace Herrell with nine minutes remaining. Herrell stole the ball from the Linx guard, passed the ball to Brodie Scott and completed the give-and-go after Scott found Herrell for him to hit a smooth layup. With only six minutes left, the Panthers overcame the once 10-point deficit and took a 63-62 lead over the hosts Lynx. Despite LC's best efforts, Rhodes did just enough to win 75-69.
Top Panther Performance
Samuel Moss scored a team-high 21 points and secured four rebounds. The freshman shot exceptionally well, he made 60% from three, 56% from the field and 100% at the line.
