Following the women's game against the Blazers, the men's team takes on Belhaven in the first CCS game of the season. Tip off for this important in-conference game is at 5 p.m.
The teams
The Panthers are 8-5 and are coming off of a 86-85 win over the Knights of Southern Virginia (Dec. 30). In that game, freshman Kameron McCall led the team in points and scored a personal season-high 23 points. McCall has averaged a steady 10.6 points per game, while shooting 44% from the field and 30% from three. The Blazers are 8-4 and most recently beat Bard College 69-60 (Dec. 30). Guard Luke Couch has averaged a team-high 14.9 points scored per game.
The series
The Panthers are 0-3 against the Blazers and the last time the two teams met, Belhaven won 85-68 (Feb. 24, 2023).
