Following his outstanding performance against Berry College (Nov. 21), freshman Samuel Moss was honored with his first CCS Rookie of the Week award.
In that game, Moss tied a team-high 16 points, shooting 45% from the field. He has not only stood out in the Berry game but has been dominating the competition all year. In his five games played, the freshman guard leads the Panthers in scoring with 15.2 points per contest. He averages 35% from the field and an incredible 46% from beyond the arc. The Sharpsburg, Ga. native has been electrifying to watch, and you still have plenty of chances to see him and the Panthers play this season.
The next home game for LC is on Wednesday (Dec. 6) at 7:30 p.m. Come out to Mariotti Gym and cheer the Panthers on to victory.
