LC returns home to take on the Bears of Berea in a tough CCS matchup (Jan. 12)
The teams
The Panthers are 10-6 (2-1 CCS) and most recently crushed Covenant 96-59 (Jan. 6). In this game, Samuel Moss scored a team-high 20 points, while shooting 50% from the field. He also grabbed eight rebounds and had a big block. The Bears are 6-8 and are coming off of a 72-54 win over Covenant (Jan. 2). The team does play Maryville (Jan. 9) prior to facing the Panthers. Trey Minter averages a team-high 16.4 points per game, while shooting 42% from the field and 24% from three.
The series
LC is 10-2 all-time against the Bears in men's basketball. The last time the two teams played, Berea won 80-73 (Feb. 10, 2023).

The Friday (Jan. 12) game is at Mariotti Gym and begins at 7 p.m. The game is available to stream here. The women's team takes on the Bears prior to the men's game, so come out to both and cheer on the Panthers.
