The men's basketball team stays home to take on the Hawks of Huntingdon this Saturday (Jan. 20), at 4 p.m.
The teams
The Panthers are 10-8 (2-3 CCS) and are coming off of a 99-84 loss to Maryville College (Jan. 13). In that game, freshman Kameron McCall scored a team-high 24 points, shooting 46% from the field and 50% from three. The Hawks are 8-9 (2-2 CCS) and most recently lost to Berea 75-71 (Jan. 13). Guard Max Gardner averages a Hawks-high 16.2 points a game this season.
The recent history
Last season, both teams played each other two times and the Panthers won both. In the second and final matchup of last season, LC won 80-74 in a game that was competitive until the very end (Jan. 31, 2023).
When and where to watch
The home game against the Hawks tips off at 4 p.m. this Saturday (Jan. 20). Prior to the men's game, the women's team faces the Hawks at 2 p.m. Both home games can be streamed here.
