LC faces the Vikings of Berry College this Tuesday (Nov. 21) at 6 p.m. in a Mariotti matchup.
The teams
The Panthers are 5-1 and are coming off a dominating 71-57 win over Oglethorpe (Nov. 21). Kameron McCall dominated in the two games over the weekend. The freshman averaged 17 points while shooting 56% from the field and 42% from three. Each LC victory this season has been decisive. The Panthers have scored an average of 85.5 points per contest while holding opponents to 77. The Vikings are 1-2 and most recently lost to Roanoke College 79-58 (Nov. 18). In the three games played, Braxton Benham has averaged a team-high 20 points for Berry. Guard Blake Campbell scored an impressive 36 points in the one game he has played this year.
The series
The Panthers are 7-5 all time against the Vikings. Berry beat LC 88-83 in the last matchup (Nov. 12, 2022). In that game, Cam Lyons scored a team-high 23 points. Each time the two teams face off, they are competitive games, so this game should be a fun one to watch.
