Oglethorpe seemed to have all the answers in tonight's 82-73 win over the Panthers.
Game summary
Both teams kept it neck and neck throughout the first half. It was tied at the end of the first quarter at 15 a piece. LaGrange came out in the second quarter, going on a 5-0 run and forcing an Oglethorpe recap. The best play of the half happened when Taylor smith grabbed a offensive rebound and put back a layup while being surrounded by defenders. Half ended with the Petrels up 32-28. Zyhia Johnson had a team-high 10 points and Taylor Smith grabbed a team-high seven rebounds. Oglethorpe came out in the second half hitting all of their shots. The Petrels went on a 10-point run to go up 44-34 five minutes into the third quarter. The best play of the half happened when Skylar Edwards grabbed a rebound, made a move on her defender and scored a jumper. The Panthers continued to fight but the Petrels seemed to have all the answers tonight. LC came back late to bring it back within seven but the Petrels hung on to win 82-73.

Zyhia Johnson again had a phenomenal performance. She scored an incredible 27 points and had eight rebounds.
