Zyhia Johnson dominates the Eagles, scoring 25, to help secure the 66-58 LC win.

The first half of the game stayed close throughout. The best play happened with eight minutes left in the second quarter, when Skylar Edwards grabbed the Panther rebound and hit a jumper over the Asbury defender. LC led 33-27 at the half. The second half stayed incredibly competitive. Each time the Panthers would pull away, the Eagles found ways to come right back. The best play of the second half happened with seven minutes left in the third quarter. After coming off of the bench, Britney Chavez made a great move past the Eagle defender and hit a long jump shot. Both teams continued to trade points, but the Panthers held a steady lead throughout. LC went on to win 66-58.
Top Panther performances
Zyhia Johnson again led the Panthers in points (25). She shot 40% from the field as well from three from three.
Britney Chavez also had a phenomenal game. The guard had one assist, grabbed three rebounds and made 11 points.
