Women's basketball takes on the Wolves this Tuesday (Jan. 30) at home. Tip off for the game is at 5:30 p.m. and can be streamed here.
The teams
LC basketball is 13-4 (7-1 CCS) and most recently beat Belhaven 64-56 (Jan. 24). In that game, junior guard Zyhia Johnson scored a team-high 25 points and added eight rebounds. The Georgia native has averaged CCS-high 19.3 points per game. Amanda Mclendon also had a phenomenal performance against the visiting Blazers. She secured her fourth double-double of the season after she scored 12 points and grabbed a team-high 13 rebounds. The sophomore forward has averaged an impressive 10.7 points and 8.6 rebounds per game (second highest rebounding average in the CCS). The Wolves are 1-15 (0-8 CCS) and are coming off of a 65-41 loss to Maryville (Jan. 27). Sophomore guard Mia Walker leads the Wolves in scoring with 14.2 points per game. Despite only having one win, Wesleyan has lost three of the games by less than 10 points. If the Panthers do not take their competition seriously, then the Wolves can sneak out of LaGrange with their first CCS win of the season.

In the past two seasons, the Panthers are 3-0 against the Wolves. In the three matchups, LC has won by a combined score of 260-110.
