The Panthers opened their conference schedule with a dominant 95-32 win over Wesleyan Tuesday night at home in Mariotti Gym.
LC stepped on the gas from the start and never let go. The Panthers went on a 15 point run to start the contest, not allowing a Wolves point until six-plus minutes into the game.
The score stood at 31-9 after the first period and was 48-17 at the half.
Coming off the break, the Panthers kept pushing and outscored the Wolves 26-5 in the third.
Heading down the home stretch, LC put up 21 in the final quarter to finish just five points from the 100 mark.
Though the bench has been seeing good playing time all season, this game saw everyone getting into the action. The bench contributed 52 points to the effort, with the entire team hitting 45% of their shots.
Ema Turner and Zyhia Johnson led the individual scoring with 12 points each. Amanda Mclendon brought down 11 rebounds, and Laila Battle had 7 assists.
The Panthers hit the road this weekend, facing Maryville on Friday at 5 p.m. and Berea on Saturday at 2 p.m.
