The LaGrange College Women's Basketball Team launches its 2022-23 season against Emory on Tuesday night.
Featuring a quartet of returning seniors, the squad is eager to hit the court, according to senior Gracie Brunel.
"We have a strong group of returning players along with a solid group of newcomers," she said. "I love this team over any other, and we are excited to start tomorrow.
"We are here to compete for a conference title one game at a time!"
Brunel is joined by senior teammates Jada Brown, Breonna Glover and Jada Strickland.
The Panthers will face the Eagles at 5:30 p.m. in an away game that is also Emory's first contest of the season. Watch the game at this streaming link.
LC was ranked fourth in the Collegiate Conference of the South pre-season coaches' poll last week. The team was 10-5 in their conference last year and is aiming higher this season under third-year Head Coach Jasen Jonus.
