LAGRANGE, Ga. – LaGrange (10-4, 4-1 CCS) women's basketball returns home for the first time in two weeks as they host Covenant (4-9, 1-3 CCS) on Tuesday, January 17. Game time is set for 5 p.m. at Mariotti Gym
The Panthers enter with five wins in their last six games, including a 64-51 decision at Huntingdon (1/11) and a 79-63 rout of Belhaven (1/14) while the Scots come in having dropped their last five. That stretch dates back to a 70-56 loss at Berry (12/10) and includes losses to Asbury (71-40 on 12/31), Maryville (66-54 on 1/3), Agnes Scott (70-67) and Berea (70-57 on 1/11).
ALL-TIME SERIES
LaGrange leads the all-time series 19-6 dating back to a 63-41 loss on November 25, 2000. From there they would go on to win 13 of the next 14 over the next 17 years before Covenant claimed three of the next four through February 9, 2019. Since then the Panthers have claimed five of the last six, including a 73-59 victory on February 12, 2022 in Lookout Mountain, Georgia.
