LAGRANGE, Ga. – LaGrange (8-4, 2-1 CCS) women's basketball returns to action as they head to Huntingdon (2-8, 2-2 CCS) for a midweek matchup on Wednesday, January 11. Game time is set for 5 p.m. CST in Montgomery, Alabama.
The Panthers come into the game having won six of their last eight, including knocking off Salisbury (73-58 on 12/30), Wesleyan (95-32 on 1/3) and Maryville (67-61 on 1/6). Most recently they had that three-game win streak snapped with an 81-59 decision at Berea (1/7).
The Hawks meanwhile snapped a four-game losing streak with a dominant 75-33 victory over Wesleyan (1/8). They had previously dropped decisions to Rhodes (66-50 on 12/7), Oglethorpe (69-63 on 12/16), Belhaven (72-62 on 1/3) and Piedmont (68-59 on 1/6).
ALL-TIME SERIES
LC leads the all-time series 26-21 dating back to the first half of the 1999-2000 season and has won four straight meetings to equal the longest such stretch by either team. That run dates back to the 2020-21 campaign with wins of 79-56 and 75-60 and 67-50 on December 11, 2021 in Montgomery and 80-70 in the most recent meeting in Mariotti Gym on February 13, 2022.
