Tennessee Wesleyan rallied in the fourth period for an 11-8 win over LaGrange at Callaway Stadium on Friday night. The Panthers' fourth straight loss left them 1-5, while the Bulldogs (1-2) picked up their first win.

"That was another game where we feel like it could have gone our way. We were up in the fourth but we just didn't execute to finish the game. Playing with the same pace for all four quarters is something we need to work on moving forward. The guys have been playing hard and I fully expect us to continue to compete and push these teams who have more experienced players."
How it Happened
- The Bulldogs took a 3-2 lead after the first period. Robert Hunt opened the scoring in the game with an unassisted goal to put LC up 1-0. The Bulldogs came back with two straight goals. Gavin Greco, who had a game-high four goals, scored his first goal to put the Bulldogs up 2-1. Jackson Bonner tied the game for LC off an assist from Isaac Fuller, only to have the Bulldogs retake the lead with less than two minutes left in the period.
- In the second period, the two teams swapped goal for goal. Caleb Gilmore cut the Bulldogs' lead to 4-3, with a man-up goal, with Ben Bryan getting the assist. Robert Hunt's goal with 49 seconds left in the half cut the Bulldogs' lead to 5-4 at the break.
- The Panthers played one of their best defensive periods of the season, shutting out the Bulldogs in the third period. Jackson Bonner's second goal tied the game 5-5. Tareyon Delgado, who assisted on Bonner's goal, gave LC the lead 6-5 heading to the final period.
- The Bulldogs scored the first four goals of the final period to build a 9-6 lead. The Panthers got within two goals twice. Gilmore scored unassisted with 2:36 left to make it 9-7. Ben Bryan needed only 20 seconds to answer a Bulldog goal to draw LC within two, 10-8 with 1:28 remaining. The Bulldogs got an insurance goal in the final 15 seconds for the 11-8 final.
Panther Standouts
- Panther goalie Isaac Bohrer had 16 of his 20 saves in the first half. Bohrer matched his season high with the 20 saves.
- Bonner, Gilmore, and Hunt each had two goals.
- Bryan had two assists to go with his goal. He had a team-high five ground balls.
- Josh Hill won three of his four faceoffs, and had four ground balls.
