Wentworth Institute of Technology pulled away for a 19-3 win over LaGrange on Wednesday at Callaway Stadium. The Panthers are 2-6 on the season, while the Leopards upped their record to 4-1.
How it Happened
- LC got on the scoreboard first. Tareyon Delgado got his team-leading 19th goal of the season, scoring unassisted for a 1-0 lead with 10:39 left in the opening period. Wentworth tied the game four minutes later. The Leopards seized the lead with three goals in a two-minute span and took a 5-1 lead into the second period.
- Wentworth increased its lead to 7-1 early in the second period. Jackson Bonner scored back-to-back goals in a minute to pull LC within four, 7-3. The Leopards scored the final three goals of the half to lead 10-3 at the break.
- In the final two periods, Wentworth shutout the Panthers 9-0 for the 19-3 final. The Leopards had nine players score at least one goal.
- Panther goalie Isaac Bohrer had 18 saves in three periods of work.

The Panthers host Pfeiffer on Saturday at 7 p.m. at Callaway Stadium. It will be the USA South opener for LC.
