LaGrange senior designated hitter Casey Bell is the USA South Baseball Player of the Week for the week ending Feb. 12.
Bell helped lead the Panthers to a perfect 4-0 record last week, including a 3-0 record at the Firehouse Classic in Montgomery, Ala. The senior from Port Orange, Fla. batted .667 going 12-for-18 that included a home run, three doubles, and seven RBIs. He scored six runs and had three stolen bases. Bell had a 1.000 slugging percentage and .700 on-base percentage in the four games.
