Top-ranked LaGrange is headed to the South Region for the Division III national tournament as announced by the NCAA. Salisbury, Rowan, Emory, Otterbein, Roanoke, and the Panthers make up the six-team regional in Danville, Virginia. This will be the Panthers' second NCAA appearance and first since 2010.
The Panthers (38-4), the USA South regular and tournament champion, will face Otterbein (31-12) on Thursday at 2:30 p.m. Otterbein is the Ohio Athletic Conference champion. This will be the first meeting between the two schools.
LC defeated Emory 9-4 during the regular season. The Panthers have faced Salisbury three times, the last meeting at the 2010 South Region. They played Rowan during the 2012 season.
