The LaGrange baseball team moved up to No. 10 in the latest D3baseball.com Top 25 poll. The ranking is the highest in the Panther baseball program history.
The Panthers are 15-2 overall and lead the USA South with a 5-1 conference record. LC will host Huntingdon in a three-game conference series beginning Friday.
Seniors Casey Bell, Blake Butcher and Tavin Thompson rank 1-2-3 in the conference in RBIs. Bell leads the way with 24, while Butcher and Thompson have 19 each. Bell and Butcher are tied for second in home runs with three.
Senior Andrew Weekley along with juniors Ryan Broaderick and Jonathan Fleckenstein are three of seven pitchers tied for first with three wins. Weekley is third with 27 strikeouts, while Broaderick is tied for fifth with 25.
