Lincoln Anderson, Julian Cameron, Porter Law and Drew Shepherd of the LaGrange College men's basketball team were recognized for their exceptional work in the classroom, as the student-athletes were named to the National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC) Honors Court Tuesday.
A student-athlete needs to be a junior or senior academically and a varsity player to qualify. At the conclusion of the 2020-21 academic year, the individual must have a cumulative GPA of 3.2 or higher.

Furthermore, students need to be enrolled at their current institution for at least one year and compete at the NCAA Division I, II, III, or NAIA Division I level with a NABC member coach.
Anderson was a role model on and off the court during his brilliant four-year Panther career, earning Honors Court recognition in his junior and senior seasons. He graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in psychology in May.
During the 2020-21 season, the LaGrange native ranked first in the USA South in rebounds per game (9.5) and field-goal percentage (59.6), while checking in at No. 3 with 1.5 blocks per game.
The 6-foot-7 post player ended his collegiate playing days ranked No. 6 in program history with a 56.7 career field-goal percentage. Anderson recorded five double-doubles and one 20-10 game in points and rebounds during his senior campaign.
Anderson averaged 13.0 points per game over the 11-game schedule. He pulled down a career-high 17 boards at Piedmont on Jan. 22. As a senior, he was named to the USA South All-Conference West Division second team and the conference's All-Sportsmanship squad.

Cameron earned a Bachelor of Arts in early childhood education in May. This past academic year, the College Park, Georgia, native completed his student-teaching experience in a fifth-grade classroom at Franklin Forest Elementary School. Cameron is pursuing a master's and playing NCAA Division II basketball at Southern Wesleyan University.
Cameron, a 2020 USA South All-Conference second team honoree, was named to the conference's West Division first team in 2021. He was a two-time USA South Men's Basketball Player of the Week award winner during his time sporting the Red and Black.
During the 2020-21 season, the 6-foot guard ranked first in the USA South in free-throw percentage (93.1) and fourth in points per game (19.5). He knocked down 54-of-58 foul shots.
Cameron, who finished his career with 1,161 points, became the 30th Panther to reach the 1,000-point milestone at Piedmont on Jan. 22. He ranks fourth in program history in career free-throw percentage (83.6) and fifth in made 3-pointers (179).
Cameron tied a career-high with 31 points in a thrilling 88-76 triumph at eventual USA South West Division champion Maryville on Feb. 25. He shot 8 of 13 from the field, 2 of 4 on 3-pointers and 13 for 13 from the charity stripe.

Law was one of the hardest-working players that has ever put on a Panther jersey. He was always ready when his number was called, sacrificed for the greater good of the team and guarded the elite players on the opposing team.
The Rome, Georgia, native played in 25 games and made 11 starts during the 2019-20 season. He started the final 10 games of the year and ranked second on the team in assists (54) and tied for third in steals (28). During 2020-21, he scored five points off the bench in a 97-78 season-opening victory over Huntingdon in Mariotti Gym.
Shepherd graduated with a Bachelor of Science in exercise science in May. He dropped a season-high 18 points, shooting 6 of 10 from the field, 3 of 5 on 3-pointers and 3 for 3 from the charity stripe, in an 89-73 victory over visiting Berea on Jan. 30. The Douglasville, Georgia, native compiled a career-high of seven assists and tied a personal-best with six rebounds in the season-opening triumph over Huntingdon on Jan. 14.
Shepherd received the program's Hiram Reeves Dedication award at the end of the 2019-20 season. The 6-foot guard finished with career-highs of 19 points and four made 3-pointers against visiting Berea on Jan. 18, 2020.
