Senior forward Kyle Brown is the USA South Men's Basketball Player of the Week for the week ending Feb. 20. This is the second straight week Brown has received the honor.
Brown averaged 29.5 points, 9.0 rebounds, 2.0 assists, and 1.5 steals per game as the Panthers went 2-0 last week in USA South games. Brown had a career-high 31 points to go with four rebounds, three assists, one steal, and one block in a 94-75 win against Huntingdon. In an 81-71 victory at Brevard that clinched a share of the USA South West Division regular season championship for the Panthers, Brown notched a double-double of 28 points and 14 rebounds. He was a perfect 12-of-12 at the free throw line. In his last five games, Brown is averaging 27.0 points and 7.6 rebounds per game.
