LAGRANGE, Ga. – LaGrange (4-5, 0-1 USA South) men's lacrosse hits the road looking to crack the seal on their USA South win column as they head to North Carolina to take on Brevard (2-7, 0-2 USA South) for just the second time in program history when the teams tangle on Saturday, March 25. Game time is set for 3 p.m. in Brevard, North Carolina.
The Panthers have split their last four outings, demolishing Centenary (30-8 on 2/26) and Carroll (15-5 on 3/11) before falling to Capital (26-11 on 3/12) and dropping a relatively close 14-10 decision to defending USA South Champion Southern Virginia (3/18).
Since winning two of their first three, the Tornados have lost six in a row, with half of those games being at the opposite end of the spectrum. They would drop close games to Oglethorpe (10-7 on 3/2), Husson (13-12 on 3/10) and Point (11-10 on 3/13) while also getting hammered by Guilford (22-3 on 3/7), Huntingdon (21-5 on 3/18) and, most recently, 26-4 by Pfeiffer (3/21).
SERIES HISTORY
The series against Brevard consists of just one game, that coming last year when the Panthers pummeled BC 21-6 on April 9, 2022 in LaGrange, Georgia.
