LAGRANGE, Ga. – In a matchup of teams on equal footing, LaGrange (5-5, 1-1 USA South) men's lacrosse hosts Huntingdon (5-5, 1-1 USA South) for the first time in program history on Wednesday, March 29. Game time is set for 7 p.m. at Callaway Stadium.
The Panthers snapped a two-game losing streak, having fallen to Capital (26-11 on 3/12) and defending USA South Champion Southern Virginia (14-10 on 3/18), with a 23-2 dismantling of Brevard (3/25) last time out.
The Hawks, meanwhile, had their three-game win streak abruptly halted by a 17-2 demolition by SVU on March 25. Previously they had been the ones doing the demolishing, taking out Spalding (21-3 on 3/12), Brevard (21-5 on 3/18) and Warren Wilson (26-3 on 3/19).
SERIES HISTORY
LaGrange is 1-1 all-time against Huntingdon, with both games coming on the road in Montgomery, Alabama over the past two seasons. They narrowly dropped an 8-6 decision to the Hawks on April 25, 2021 before returning the favor with a 14-12 win on March 23, 2022.
