Freshman Guard Brodie Scott was honored today as the Collegiate Conference of the South Rookie of the Week.
Scott contributed 11 points in each of the Panthers' last two games, helping bring the team two wins and boosting its record to 4-2.
He had his first college start against Pensacola Christian on Nov. 21, where he also contributed three assists and four rebounds. On. Nov. 27 against Mississippi University for Women, he added two assists, three rebounds and two steals.
So far this season, Scott has been hitting 54.1% of his shots and averaging 10.4 points per game.
He is from Athens, Georgia, and played for North Oconee High School.
The Panthers next face Birmingham-Southern on Wednesday at home at 7:30 p.m.
