GREENSBORO, N.C. - LaGrange College finished its weekend trip to North Carolina with a 90-56 loss to Greensboro on Sunday. The Panther slipped to 0-9 on the season, while Greensboro improved to 4-3.
Nic Whitfield led the Panthers with 13 points. Stepen Spivey had eight points. Marcus Vaughn had six points and eight rebounds.
T.J. Holman led Greensboro with a game-high 20 points. Holman was 4-for-4 from the floor, including a pairof 3s. Daren Dexter added 13 points and Andre Porter 10.
The Panthers led only once in the game. Whitfield's basket gave the Panthers a 4-2 lead early in the first half.
Greensboro opened up a 20-11 lead midway through the half. The Pride continued to build on the lead and led 47-23 at halftime.
Greenboro shot 56.6 percent in the game. The Panthers shot 42.9 percent in the game. The Panthers turned the ball over 30 times in the game.
The Panthers play at Millsaps on Dec. 13.
