LaGrange freshman infielder Maegan Harrison was selected as the USA South Softball Rookie of the Week for the week ending Feb. 28.
The Bainbridge, Ga. native went a combined 6-for-14 (.429) with a .714 slugging percentage, nine RBIs, three runs scored, one double and one home run as the Panthers posted a 3-1 record last week.
In a doubleheader sweep of Agnes Scott, Harrison was a combined 3-for-7 with four RBIs, three runs scored and her first collegiate home run which was a grand slam. In a doubleheader split with Wesleyan, Harrison was a combined 3-for-7 with five RBI, two runs scored and one double.
