The LaGrange softball team held Senior Day on Saturday at the LC Softball Complex in a doubleheader against No. 10 Emory.
Dani Gravett, Kalin Oglesby, Kara Patterson, Jessica Smith, Abby Stuckey, and Brooke Turner were honored between games.
The Panthers (13-22) lost the doubleheader 8-0 and 12-3 in five innings to the nationally-ranked Eagles (40-4).
Gravett pitched the first game. She walked three and struck out seven. The Panthers had base hits by Turner and Grayson West.
In the second game, Patterson went the distance on the mound. She allowed the 12 runs, but only five were earned. Sydney Hodorff had a hit and an RBI, while Carolyn Harkness had the other hit for the Panthers. Gravett drove in a run with a ground out, while West walked with the bases loaded to force in the Panthers' final run.
The Panthers close the 2016 season Monday with a doubleheader at Agnes Scott.
