Seniors Dani Gravett and Kalin Oglesby were named to the USA South Softball All-Conference teams as announced by the conference office Wednesday. Gravett was a second team selection as a utility player. Oglesby was on the honorable mention team as a shortstop.
Gravett, who played first base and pitched, leads the Panthers in numerous offensive and pitching categories. She led the team in batting average (.410), home runs (6), RBIs (34), and slugging percentage (.710). As a pitcher she leads the team in wins, compiling an 8-7 record with a 3.73 ERA. Gravett is the team leader in innings pitched (90), and strikeouts with 61. She has been on the all-conference team now three times, after a second team selection at first base last season and as an honorable mention pick as a sophomore.
Oglesby is second to Gravett with a .400 batting average and has 10 RBIs. She leads the team in on-base percentage (.471), at-bats (105), runs (29), and hits (42). Oglesby is tied for the team lead with 11 walks. This is the second time for Oglesby on the all-conference team, having earned first team honors at second base as a freshman.
