LaGrange senior Dani Gravett was named the USA South Softball Player of the Week for the week ending March 20.
Gravett was 12-for-21 (.571 )with a 1.143 slugging percentage, 13 RBI, five runs scored, three doubles, three home runs, a walk and a stolen base as the Panthers went 3-3 last week. In two losses to USA South rival William Peace, Gravett was a combined 4-for-7 with four RBIs, two runs scored and two home runs. Gravett finished her week by going 5-for-8 with seven RBIs and two doubles in a sweep of Meredith in a USA South doubleheader. Gravett also added two victoriespitching during the week. For the season, Gravett is second in the USA South with a .473 batting average. She has four home runs and 20 RBIs for the season.
