Freshman men's soccer goalkeeper Andrew Cole is the LaGrange College Athlete of the Week for the week ending Oct. 17, 2021. Cole was named the USA South Men's Soccer Defender of the Week for the same week.
Cole helped LC go 2-0 during the week. He made a game-high five saves and earned the shutout for the Panthers during a 1-0 non-conference win at Mississippi University for Women. In a 2-1 USA South win over Piedmont, Cole earned the victory and stopped three shots. He has started six straight games for LC, allowing eight goals for a 1.30 goals-against average.
