Senior basketball guard Bershard Edwards is the LaGrange College Athlete of the Week for the week ending Nov. 21.
Edwards averaged 18.0 points, 5.3 rebounds, 2.0 steals and 1.3 assists during three games for the Panthers (4-2). He ended the week by setting career-highs in scoring during back-to-back games against Oglethorpe and Berry Saturday and Sunday.
Edwards scored 20 points and pulled a personal-best eight rebounds in an 89-75 win over the Stormy Petrels. The Lehigh Acres, Florida, native dropped a game-high 24 points, shooting 11 of 19 from the field and 2 for 3 on 3-pointers, against the Vikings.
