Men's Basketball student-athletes were recognized this month in the 2022-23 National Association of Basketball Coaches Team Academic Excellence Awards.
LC was among the over 300 schools honored by NABC for achievement in the classroom during last season. To meet the requirements, basketball programs needed to have a team GPA of 3.0 or higher.
LaGrange has earned this distinction for seven of its past eight seasons.
Over 1,800 student-athletes also were named to the NABC Honors Court. To be eligible, junior, senior and graduate student men's basketball players had to earn a cumulative GPA of 3.2 or higher.
Panther student-athletes Gabe Cofield '24, Cooper Dolhancyk '24, Bershard Edwards '23 and Grant Evans '24 were honored with the distinction.
