Janet Lin Craft has been tabbed the new Senior Woman Administrator for LC athletics as announced by Director of Athletics and Recreation Terlynn Olds. In her new role Craft will be responsible for assisting the College's intercollegiate athletics program and establishing policies and procedures that achieve the parallel goals of development of quality, competitive athletics teams, and support of the individual educational goals of student-athletes.
Craft enters her fifth full year working as an Athletic Trainer at LaGrange College in 2021-22. She joined the college's athletics department in January 2017.
Craft, a native of San Francisco, California, earned a bachelor's degree in kinesiology-athletic training with a minor in psychology from Fresno State University in 2011. She received a master's in kinesiology and health studies from Southeastern Louisiana University in 2014. Beginning this month, Craft will start her studies towards a Doctorate in Athletic Training through Florida International University.
Craft currently serves the Georgia Athletic Trainers' Association as the Ethnic Diversity Advisory Committee Chair and the Southeast Athletic Trainers' Association Career Advancement Committee Chair. She holds additional training in kinesiology taping, mental-health first aid, and individual crisis intervention.
Janet has presented at state, regional and national conferences on these topics: "Psychological First Aid in the Collegiate Setting" and "Guillain Barre Syndrome: Rare but Serious".
Craft resides in Columbus, Georgia, with her husband, Jack, and two dogs, Sawyer and Malcolm.
