LaGrange football had three players, including the USA South Defensive Rookie of the Year, on the all-conference teams as announced by the conference.
Freshman corner back Cameron Grady was named the USA South Defensive Rookie of the Year and selected to the all-conference second team. Junior tight end De'queze Fryer and senior nose tackle Joe Thomas were both first team selections.
Grady is the second straight Panther to earn defensive rookie of the year honors, joining Randy Fillingame from 2019. He led the conference with five interceptions, all coming against USA South opponents. Grady returned an interception 37 yards for a touchdown in the 38-34 win over Southern Virginia. He had 31 total tackles and two pass breakups this season. Grady earned USA South Defensive Rookie of the Week honors once.
Fryer set a school record this season with 944 receiving yards. He had the second most receptions (66) and TD receptions (11) in a season by a Panther. He led the conference in receptions, receiving yards, receiving yards per game, and receptions per game. In addition, Fryer is the first Panther to score at least one touchdown in every game of a season.
Thomas anchored the Panthers' defensive line. He is on the all-conference team for the second time after making it in 2019 as a second team selection. Thomas had 47 total tackles this season. He had eight tackles for loss, including three quarterback sacks. He had 81 career tackles, including 14.5 for losses.
