The LaGrange College Athletic Department presented the 2021-22 Pouncies in ceremonies at the Callaway Auditorium. Department awards, team awards, along with recognition of conference, sportsmanship, and weekly awards were presented.
Athletic Director's Valor Award- Senior McKinley Erves, Baseball- This is the highest award given to a graduating LaGrange College student-athlete who has overcome personal challenges, represented the athletics program with the highest level of excellence, and has grown tremendously in their years being part of the Panther Family.
Male/Female Scholar Award- Senior Ryan Bullock, Football; Senior Jasmine Middleton, Women's Soccer- is given to one male and one female graduating senior with the highest cumulative GPA.
The Spirit of Panther Pride- Junior Alex Drazic, Men's Soccer- This award is voted on by the student-athletes and given to an individual who possesses and displays enthusiasm for all Panther athletics. This individual attend numerous athletic events, displays their pride in being part of the Panther Nation, and understands representing LaGrange Panther Athletics is an honor and privilege.
Panther Partner Award- Advancement Department- This award is chosen by the administrative staff for a community partner who has helped make Panther Athletics go from "Good to Great." Athletics does not work in a silo and needs partnerships to support over 300 student- athletes.
Athletic Department Staff Member of the Year- Janet Craft, Athletic Training/Senior Woman Administrator
Athletic Deparment Coach of the Year- Kendal Wallace, Head Men's Basketball Coach
Above and Beyond Award- Jeff Geeter, Director of Sports Performance- This award is chosen by the Athletic Director to recognize an individual who has gone beyond their duties and responsibilities. This person is dependable, reliable, and trustworthy to complete their given tasks.
